If you were to ask me what life tasted like, I’d tell you it tastes like the perfect glass of crisp clean cool water. A refreshing glass of water on a hot summer day – that is the flavor of my life. I crave life as much as I crave water which is a seemingly constant need to fuel me through each and every day I live. Water by far is the most essential nutrient we can give our bodies to live a healthy and happy life. Water is needed for many crucial components in our bodies. Nutrient, oxygen, and waste transport in, out and through our bodies are possible because of water. In the morning replacing the water in your body can jump start your metabolism and send you off into your day with more energy to live it.
Often when we think our bodies are hungry we are actually just thirsty, water can be used to help curve cravings and assist in appetite control. Water helps in so many other ways… want clearer skin? Your answer is WATER… want to loose fat mass? WATER … want to have more energy? WATER!
Water is my absolute favorite force on earth. Water is powerful, refreshing, beautiful, cleansing, nutritious, and the essence of all life. In our bodies and on this earth water is a natural resource that drives our survival.
My water goals:
- 30 oz right away in the morning (kickstart my day)
- 20 oz before any meal or snacking
- 30-40 oz post workout to replace water lost in sweat
- 20 oz before I go to sleep
- Total Daily Goal: 128 oz (1 gallon)
