What does your daily life say about you?
Do you live each day with purpose or do you just let time pass you by?
Are you satisfied with yourself when the day is over & do you set your next day up for success?
These are just a few questions to ask yourself to determine what your intention in life is. My intention in my life is to make something happen and have fun while doing it. I have a purpose in all that I do. Even if it’s just to sit down and do nothing for a few minutes. The purpose is to relax and reset. Not everyday will have an extremely motivated purpose and that is okay, the important part is that you know what you’re doing with the time you have.
Some of my favorite days are when I decide I have no schedule to be anywhere or do anything. If I feel like it, it will happen. If not, no worries. It really feels great to go with the flow and have no daunting schedule to stay on track with. Having a day off from the world (I like to say) is a huge reset and recoup button for my life. If I go too long in a busy and hectic schedule without taking proper time to recover from daily life stressors I can feel my mood changing (and not for the better).
Do you ever notice the same?
Rest days from normal life schedules have their place but I can tell you that I absolutely love being busy. I excel at going from one thing to the next. Staying busy makes me feel productive and it’s self rewarding. I often think to myself “wow I crushed it today I did this and this and this.”
The underlying purpose of my busy days are to learn and grow in my craft of being a fitness professional. Discover and develop my emotional intelligence and experience every aspect of life. Each day I remind myself of the purpose of at least one action I took that day. I have found that reminding myself daily to live with purpose and to know what that purpose is has helped me have a clear and healthy outlook on life.
What is your purpose?
Stay Fit,
Cassandra
